Montrose Farmers' Market seeks to:
  • Create a more vibrant retail market for locally-grown fruits,  vegetables, and value-added products
  • Encourage our local Farmers to grow produce for the community and make it profitable for them to sell their products locally
  • Improve public health through increased availability and consumption of fresh fruits & vegetables
  • Strengthen the social fabric of our community by building awareness and appreciation for local agriculture
  • Increase tourism and sales in Montrose   
  • Increase opportunities for small home-based businesses and Artisan crafts to flourish.

Local farmers produce an amazing variety of fruits vegetables, dairy products, meats, eggs and value added products. Many are willing and able to branch out but need the support of a committed customer base to do so.
